WE ARE HIRING
A THREE-YEAR PROJECT
Aims to improve the livelihoods of women and men in the targeted areas, Ajloun and DeirAlla, by improving household energy efficiency, decreasing household energy costs and introducing EE&RE-related income generating activities. The Project activities will also impact the energy sector at the National level by increasing and upgrading the pool of EE&RE skilled workers and supporting the robust growth of the RE sector, which will improve the sustainable and inclusive economic growth for women and men in Jordan.
THE OPPORTUNITIES:
1.Energy Site Inspector. With the following tasks– but not limited to:
•Field site inspection (in Ajloun and DeirAlla)
•Conducting household/institution energy surveys and identifying appropriate energy saving solutions Responsible for control/quality assurance for installed systems
•Data collection, including monitoring and reporting of PV/SWH system outputs.
•Regular engagement with the project technical team and the suppliers
•Writing progress and technical reports in English.
•Contributingto the local awareness campaign
2.Energy Technicians (Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy experiences). With the following tasks– but not limited to:
•Conducting field site visits (in Ajloun and DeirAlla)
•Implementing the proposed energy solutions (PV systems, Solar water heaters, LED lighting) at Households, schools and Clinics
•Conducting walkthrough energy audits for EE/RE systems.
•Engagement with project technical team
•Regular follow-up with the suppliers/installers
•Preparing thetechnical forms in English.
•Contributingto the local awareness campaign
EDUCATION:
Diploma OrBachelor’s Degree in the related field/s.
EXPERIENCE:
In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:
•3-5 years of progressive experience in EE/RE.
•Strong organization and communication skills as well as technical writing ability.
•Computer and MS office skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Effective/Dynamic persons who are keen to work within a successful multi-disciplinary team.
